what turbo?
Hi, got a jdm wrx with sti stuff on and a td05 turbo. Not sure what "g" it is but is quick. I would like a straight swap but quicker spool up, any idea`s? Thanx

The TD05 spools up pretty quick the only swappable one I can think of is the VF roller bearing (non-twin scroll)........ (the number has gone out of my head) but not sure you would notice the difference.
I'd check the inlet / exhaust for improvement, ported headers can improve spool up without changing the turbo for example.

Not sure you need a bigger turbo......................even laggier and more chance of smashing your gearbox. Nicely tuned even your TD05 16G can run 300 plus BHP and enough torque to lunch the gearbox even without changing to a bgger turbo.
For Headers etc I'd have normally asked harvey but he's poorly at the moment.
