Shell V-power in Southern Ireland
We're driving across to southern Ireland next week for my sons wedding - ferry into Dublin then heading about 100m west. Anyone know about v-power availabilty? Been on to the Shell site and it looks as if they're not even out there! If this is the case whats the alternatives apart from to take booster? Any other fuel companies selling the higher octanes?
Thank you
Thank you

I think it is real difficult to get anything half decent from what I've read You could maybe carry some Meth's, that would be the cheaper option over Octane Booster, but I'm not sure how much you'd need to mix with fuel really!?
When I went round Europe I had to use some ****e fuel occasionally, and always put some of the NF booster in, as after a lot of research found it was the one to use. Not the cheapest by any means, but good.

No super unleader in the south of Ireland at all mate ....only super we have up here in the north is BP, Maxol and Texaco and i filled a 40litre tank last week at £1.40 a litre ....thats £58 to fill a 40 litre tank
Id fill up before you leave and take a jar of octane booster with you for a fill of normal petrol when you're over here

I'd go for Maxol's E5 where available:

Should be safe enough - you can add couple of drops of good octane booster to be on a safe side anyway.
Maxol says it's 99ron - I don't know how true it is - but seems to be anyway more than 95ron.
Stick to this and you should be fine - and your engine, too
