There's some 20+ different ECUs for EJ25 cars.
If you think one is in your car then forget it as the plug is different on your MY00.

Controlling your EJ25 you either have a std ECU , a remapped ECU or an aftermarket replacement.

Take a look at your ECU label and give us all the letters and codes on it.

on the ECU it says the following:

Y7
22611 AE802
A18-000 D3L
9Y19

Is this a standered ECU for a my00 ?

The Y7 or AE802 is a std 99/00 ECU that's supported by Ecutek.
I'd drop by an Ecutek mapper and check if its remapped - which it really MUST be with the 2.5 engine change.

A trip down to Zen Performance would be worthwhile, I don't know why aren't listed on the Ecutek dealer list though? - just take it easy if its still running on the std ECU amp.

Got an email this morning from corten-miller performance asking me to come down for a power run £47 +VAT AND TAKE IT FROM THERE ,possible option, but my car is off the road at the minute i'm needing some water pipes from header tank and 2 from pump also breather pipe before i can replace the inlet manifold !

Awaiting new suspension and discs and brakes wheels and tyres so maybe in a month or so .
Where are zen performance based and are they around the same price for a power run.

cheers lee

I wouldn't even bother with a power run. If you are running the std ECU map then it may not go to plan.
Just get an Ecutek dealer to interrogate the ECU to see if it has been remapped.
