Had to fill up using normal unleaded yesterday as I was no where near a shell or tesco garage. When I refill using super unleaded do I need to do anything like reset the ECU or will it adapt automatically?
Can't believe how ****e the car feels on normal unleaded!!!
avoid wide open throttle (especially with the warmer weather) till all the NUL has passed or been diluted into super unleaded grade.
You ecu will have reduced the ignition advance as much as it can to reduce any knock... and will slowly re-advance it over the period of 2 or 3 tank fills.

Mine is mapped for T99, and even prior to the remap during some of the first runs there was no knock - might just be the standards of housekeeping att your local garage
I've heard T99 goes "off" pretty quickly... even in the tank... So use it quickly and every things just great
Don't think its does; My old jag gets used once a month and uses Tesco 99 (in lieu of 4 star) runs 12.5:1 compression (average n/a engine is just 10.5:1) and has been running lean for the past months due to EFi issues.
Not one hint of det or pinking. And when one of these things dets, you know about it (which it did once when the ignition advance mechanism seized).
If the fuel had gone off it would be very notable.
