how to obtain a alarm certificate
Bought a car with a cat 1 alarm on and seller said they d miss placed the certificate and would send it on when found.
Still not got it and insurance company are giving me a week to produce a certificate or there going to cancel my insurance.
Any one now how i can get around this

try and find out who originally fitted it and contact them.
or
find somewhere local who fits cat 1 alarms and ask them to inspect the system and write you a certificate.
there will probably be some fee involved

Ask the insurance company for a local approved alarm installer who's certificate of installation they will accept.
Cost £50 to get mine tested and certified 4 years ago, and has been accepted by all subsequent insurers since.
