Right i took my scooby in the bodyshop today to be sprayed up, he rang me 5 hours later and sed its not good news and told me to go down and see him, got down there and i cudnt belive it, the bsck bumper was off, and its a right rust bucket, the full bk end is just rust and the 2 main beams are bent and rusti, he sed it not worth doin the work, wot wud u do?

 

Buy a shell, transfer parts, job done? Ive never done it before, so someone will be along to agree/disagree.

 

Sell the thing - and make sure you spell the advert correctly!

Well learn from it, HPI before you buy comes to mind, get the car inspected, now go take it to a scrap yard, doubt its worth saving tbh

Put the bumper back on it, have the keys go missing and hopefully someone might find its burned out shell in middle of nowhere ha

 

I'm a bit lost as to how to offer advice.

Possibly go with the idea of getting a shell if you can afford, or go somewhere else and see if they will do the work.

What does confuse me is on another post of yours from about a week ago, you have mentioned the rust issue, then on this thread https://www.scoobynet.com/private-fo...-spliiter.html you have said the car has been sprayed. I'm just confused. No offence meant and I may be missing something.

As for people being rude, I don't think that's so much the case, just alot of people have an issue with people asking for advice and not making an effort to spell correctly/using text speak. There is only the one comment before yours that I can assume you are referring to.
