Can someone tell me what the prototype and open wheel class is all about. There is a guy from my area in his focus cosworth and there is only 3 names in the class.

 

Is your mates car space framed or something?

 

Its a focus about 700bhp and carbon fibre. 0-60 2.7sec in the wet with road tyres and 0-100 5.4sec in wet with road tyres..Is it because its carbon fibre....

 

Is it Andy Gallachers old one?

 

Its Andy gallaghers car. He still has it. This is his first year in time attack. Hes supposed to be giving up racin.But who knows.

If so he was in T/A last year and it's space framed which is why it's in the class that it is

Tubular chassis, his times were well spanked by the pro cars IIRC

 

will you be at the first round at oulton in 3weeks dunk. I think i will head to as many rounds as i can.

 

Nope afraid not, I'm heading back offshore on Wednesday for a three week hitch

Not even going to be home for the Knockhill round this year either, a bit disapointed with that as I've never missed a round at Knockhill since T/A started
