Default does a bonnet fit inside a wrx saloon?

Does a new-age bonnet fit inside a new-age (blob eye) saloon?

I might need to pick one up, but don't have a bigger car. I could remove the rear seats if that makes it easier.

I'm mainly worried about the width, as length wise I'm sure it can be made to fit somehow

nope, but you could remove yours, drive where ever to pick it up, fit it and then drive back, I'm sure harvey did this last year sometime

How can a bonnet which is virtually the widest part of the car fit inside a car? I remember years ago I went to a salvage yard and watched in amazment as somone tried to get a bonnet for his car in his car

Do you relise how heavy these are? I nearly bought one until I lifted the bonnet on a friends sport, I bet they weight 10 times more than an alloy bonnet?

It could potentially be turned around on it's side Bet I could fit my clio bonnet in the clio boot

However, good point about the weight... It's a right shame, i reckon a FMIC'd car would be a nice little sleeper with a sports bonnet Might test fit one anyway at some point if I can find one locally, it's not like my WRX is a light weight race car anyway with all the sound proofing and all other crap I've fitted in there...

They are really really heavy mate, steel 8grams per cubic centimetre, ally 2.7 g per cubic centimetre. So it's like having 3 ally bonnets on at the same time !!!
