Default Help!!! No Boost???

Hi guys, having an issue with my new car. It is a 51 plate wrx. Being my first scooby i am not sure exactly how it should sound/drive. Firstly i cannot hear any turbo spool under any amount of acceleration and also the re-circ is silent and never makes a sound. The car is due it's 60k service makes no worrying noises but being used to turbo'd jap cars the lack of noise is worrying. Could this be a knackered actuator? That is my first thought. There is no warning light displayed. Please help???????

If its a standard car then you wont get any noose from the turbo, also if you want some noise from the dump valve then your gonna have to swap it for a VTA type as no re circs make a noise

Mine does.

Through the IK

Agreed though if it's bog standard you're not really going to hear the turbo spool up or the re circ kicking back though the standard air filter / intake arrangement.
