Provided they're real ones and not normal stuff painted pink, they're for handling. You can get them with either stiffer bushes and/or balljoints. The latter are great for handling but transmit a lot more noise into the cabin so there is an element of compromise.

does the geo need to be set up again after fitting these?
Yes. Although the adjustable lateral arms make getting it set up again afterwards a fair bit quicker.

I got the trailing arms as I needed a bush swapping anyway, but my spannerman has vanished without trace....

They were far more than £200 believe me...

Not STI pink, but i have just had a full Cusco (fully adjustable) setup fitted, rear trailing arm and lateral links. (full geo after too)

And lets just say your looking at getting less than nothing left out of £1000!!

Tho none adjustable STI one's can be had for alot less:

Plus postage & duties.

I have these fitted, apart from the rubber sheaths on the end splitting they are spot on and easy to adjust - pig to fit though if you don't want to remove the driveshaft

not had a chance to really test it yet, but have a track day on friday.

The biggest advantage is they are fully adjustable, so if you wanted to play with settings, or go wild with some serious camber/castor/toe etc etc, you can.

As my car is used fairly regular, i havent gone for anything other than a fast road setup at the moment, but in the future i will have a decent play around.
