Default Budget Alloy Radiator For A Classic Impreza

Hi guys,

I've got a MY00 Classic Impreza and I need a new radiator as this morning, the weak plastic ends tanks gave up the ghost and split.

I was going to get a new radiator for around £70 deleivered but a few links on here suggest that you can pick up uprated alloy radiators with alloy end tanks for sub £100.

I've looked and looked this afternoon and can only find £120 upwards.

Can anyone recommend a good company/website/store to look in?

I want direct replacement fitment, I can't be doing with chopping up bumpers and panels etc...

Apex Performance do them for under £120, but it may not be a direct fit but at the price you can complain because it does out perform the standard one.

Anyone else got one of these? DO they perform well and or require modification to be fitted.

I can only find an Apex alloy rad for £139.95 plus £11.95 postage. Anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

Use an OE style one with the plastic end tanks, they are lighter and cooler as good/better than most of the cheap all ally big ones, the fans fit better and they are cheaper.

So would you not recommend either of these two items;
