I did it a couple of weeks ago took about 5 hours to do it and the results are brilliant just buy a meguiers claying kit comes with

2xClay bars
Detailing Spray
Microfibre
Bottle of wax

its dead easy clean and dry your car off. Needle the clay bar so its warm and supple spray the detailing on a patch of the bodywork rub over with the clay bar and then wipe away with the microfibre, then move onto the next patch.......simples

But make sure you wax it or start building up the layers of polish after as claying removes all the protection

cheers for that, when you say 'rub over' with the clay do you mean in one direction or do it as if i was scrubbing it back and forth

If you have tar spots (who doesn't) you'd be better removing them with a tar removing product first. While the clay bar does remove them, it takes ages and a lot of rubbing.
