Default second hand price guide

after stripping my n.reg sti version 2 and selling all the parts at a fair price and constantlly being told am selling to cheap a think its about time scoobynet put up a second hand price guide for parts.far to many people on here want far to much money for second hand parts to cover the cost of modding their cars.does no one understand the word second hand anymore?some of the prices on this site for second hand parts are dearer than new dealer prices.come on scoobynet its about time you stopped people being ripped of for second hand parts that are way over priced.for instance front mount intercoolers, can buy for 250 to 400 brand new but people want this for second hand,4 pot callipers for 300 second hand, your having a laugh,a sold a set with brand new grooved and drilled discs and green pads for £200.just sold a td05 turbo for 85 delivered but have seen them on here for £200 that is rediculious.come on scoobynet lets help the genuine scooby owners and not the rip of merchants.

Second hand parts do seem to hold there value more than they used to, as long as the parts are in demand they'll stay high

IMHO

Stuff is worth what a buyer is willing to pay.

I can't believe a non-DCCD six speed is worth £2K, I might sell mine.

LOL

P.S. I have let a few spares go "cheap" to help someone in trouble....

Its impossible to do a second hand price guide - too many factors.

Something will achieve a price according to the demand level, compared with availability of said item at the time its required.

Prices will come down though. More and more cars are being broken due to low value as a whole car (as you have discovered), even the odd newage these days.

You're asking way too much for people to reduce prices because they feel sorry for other members. People who do are a failry small minority.
