hi im a newbie can any 1 recomend an engine oil for my 2001 2.0 liter turbo done 90k

semi synthetic 10w40 or even better a fully sythetic 10w50

I might be shot down for this but..... If its just a top up I use Halfords own. If its a service oil change then I go for Millers

i use millers 5 - 40 fully synthetic, really expesive but good for performance cars

Yes 10w50 or 10w60 will do fine, ignor the treacle remarks tuners use this grade of oil

But, avoid the BHP sapping treacle oil!!!! Leave the 50's and 60's for the high mileage slappy cars!

10W-40 ..... Millers if you must, but I would save yourself ££££££ and buy COMMA - it's what all the Mechanics do for their own vehicles (they're not taken in by urban myths).
