Default Short Shift (what 1?)

i want to reduce the throw between gears as much as possible.

are these kits any good?

whats the best one? cheers

Id highly reccomend the Japspeed kit. Great price and really sharpens up the shift

Got a B&M one on mine and love it. Makes the throw v short and snicky!!

think the b and m starts at 96 went for the japspeed cheers wx

No problem mate. I found a big difference in mine. And for the price you wont get better.

I had the B&M on mine but I pulled it off as I constantly missed gears. Quick shifts work well on classic cars but on newage don't bother

I have a b&m shortshift on my '94SA wagon - works a treat

i had the ebay one which i think is exactly the same as the japspeed fitted to my 94 wrx i wasn't too keen on it to be honest, graham goode do a good replacement for pre 96 but its abit pricey i think Subaru Impreza 93>97 GGR Quickshift Gear Lever Subaru Impreza at Graham Goode Racing

i will be fitting it this coming weekend went to the london eye and to see alice in wonderland so didnt have time to squeeze it in itsgot to get me to work all week. hoping to get it sorted saturday will let you know how it goes may even do a fitting guide

just a quick one when you do get round to fitting it give the circlips a check before fitting, as the one i had they had no spring in them & the gear rod pulled out its base i had a right job removing it

all fitted it was the ebay (japspeed) its an identical part so was £28 deliverd to my door, was easy to fit, and im very pleased with it throw is redused to its minimum, and you know when you are in gear very positive feel. would recomend this for any early classic

going to try and stop modding wallet is takeing a caneing need a van for work now so saving the pennys you should see what they want to insure me (21) on a van because its a comercial vehicle its not funny 1,800 for a little berlingo dont think so!
