The PPP is "sold" as an individual item for each car and is ordered individually off Prodrive. Both the dealer and Prodrive will have a record for each vehicle / VIN that have had PPP fitted.

Should be able to contact the dealer who fitted or prodrive with the VIN for confirmation.

To be fair, the PPP bits could have been bought second hand and fitted afterwards. I've did this with my WRX so I've also got a PPP but no certificate. Just a thought...! Probably best having a look at the car and checking for the actual parts.

The original cost of the PPP was £1600 (well it was for my bugeye).........however it can be had second hand for much less so it doesn't add a whole lot to the sticker price.
