Default Hawkeye Downpipe recommendation

Have ordered a Blitz Nur Spec R and I want to get a decat downpipe.

How much am I looking at for one to fit my Blitz?

Will this fit because it's an Afterburner Downpipe, which I assume is made to fit the Afterburner backbox and center.

I had a blitz nur spec R fitted to my Hawkeye STI and i mated it up to this

Subaru Impreza New Age High Flow Sports Cat --- Japspeed Performance Parts

I had the 2.5" reducer cut off the blitz and welded up to make it full 3" which bolted directly to the above downpipe. On the other hand you can just get the same downpipe that goes from full 3" down to 2.5" where it meets the blitz and save on the fabrication work. HTH

P.S with that combo your car will be VERY loud.

Cheers

Cheers for the info.

What's the difference betweena downpipe and a sports cat?

Which is better performance wise and louder also?

A Sports Cat is "Supposed" to allow you to pass MOT emission tests but still allow you the same qualities as a fully free flowing downpipe. I lost around 5-10 bhp using a sports cat over a normal decat downpipe when i got it mapped and come MOT time it was still miles over the emissions limit so i would not go through the expense of fitting one again.

That said i am sure companies who sell more expensive sports cats like H&S would pass the mot test.

As for loudness i am not sure but my car was extremely loud with the sports cat plus i had the pops and bangs mapped in on the over run.

Cheers
