My boost is Reading 0.81 when I boot it in 4th gear and I've been told this is running low! Cars running 0.8 bar 1996 impreza sti! I intend to change this to 1.1bar at a later date!

Can anyone tell me when I boot it in 4th gear what I should be looking for????? Instead of a low reading of 0.81

your help would be much appreciated

 

Mine only holds 0.8 -0.9 on standard 1995 wrx.

 

had mine checked monday at scooby clinic, mine is at 0.89 bar under heavy load, they said that is perfect for standard.

 

Is it your boost gauge that is under reading?

 

Tested mine tonight, 1997 sti, 4th gear and got 1.3 bar top, similar in 5th too

 

Burbling- yea my greddyspec2 is Reading 0.8 in 4th and roughly same in 5th!I have a dash mounted turbo gauge fitted and it beeps at 0.8 too??

 

thats what they are standard, mine is mapped to do 1.3 bars it was 0.8 standard
