PF classic bonnet vents - cosmetic?
Guys
My prefacelift bonnet vents have an aluminium plate on the underside - whats the point of the vents as they surely are non functioning
Do peole remove the plate to allow function ?

remove the plates and allow water into the induction and electrics, from rain. 
just have a look under the vents and see if you want that area to be wet.
