Hmmm. Not sure about this description in the ad:
THE CAR DRIVES AND DELIVERS ITS POWER EXACTLY AS HONDA INTENDED.
Or maybe he knows something we don't?

That must have cost more than just buying an STi and being done with it!!
Apart from going to town with a spray can, it's a pretty decent effort!
Spraying everything in the engine bay was unusual .....

it is nice to be fair, although the painted bay and dash would have been better off left alone imo

The red paint must add the power
Slightly out on a Red Top
Good effort though.

Look closely at the front end pic. It appears to have phase 1 lights on it.
If so this tends to suggest it's an earlier car than the '97 it's advertised as, or else it's had a front-ender at some point and been repaired with the wrong headlamp units.

Doesn't look too bad, except the engine bay & dash.

He's gonna have to try and squeeze at least £250 out of a seller to pay for all those picture insert costs.
Shame the ads aren't charged by the word either.

that looks like a phase 1 sport that was 115 bhp,i cant see how those mods could get him near 160 bhp,the most powerful sport that was rr tested on the imprezasport website was newport white scoobies phase 2 125 bhp car which recorded 140 bhp,you wont see 160 bhp unless it has forced induction or some massively expensive engine mods.make a aport look nice, make a sport sound good, make a sport handle and stop well just dont waste your money making them go faster.apart from the engine picture it looks nice but in this day and age 3 grand gets you a decent turbo,so unless you can only afford to run /insure a sport its going to be a tough sell.

Gareth NWS car blew up not long after that, in real terms it's only going to be about 125bhp at the most... you just can't tune them.

Am I the only person viewing this post to think that was a really clean engine bay until someone got hold of the luminescent orange paint? Ruined in 20 seconds flat.

Haha, oh I know, but I really don't have anything better to do today than reading through old posts in the hopes of inspiration and knowledge!
