I moved over from Orange (I was with them for 12 years) to O2 in order to get an Iphone and have been with them for 3 years now. I thought that Orange customer services were bad enough but I agree that O2 customer services are cr@p.
I have a Iphone 3G and I have had two changed under warranty so far meaning that the handset gets sent back to Apple. They then agree that there is a fault and then I get to pick a new handset up after about 2 weeks from my local O2 store.
They do offer a 'loan' handset which is the most basic handset avaialble, I refuse the handset and put my sim into my Iphone 2G, why do they not have loan Iphone handsets available?
And to top it all off my current handset has developed another fault meaning I have to go throught the process all over again.
When my current contract comes to an end I will be off to Orange or Vodafone in order to keep an Iphone handset but I hope their replacement policy is better.
