Take a look at www.ralliart.es They sell these. I reckon that Ralliart uk can get them for you as well.

Halfords also do a nice alternative to the Recaro at half the price. Still looks like a race seat and will take them to 12 years old.

I didn't get one of these because it relies on the adult seatbelt, cheaper ones have an integrated 5 point harness, which IMHO is safer for the child/baby.

i got recaro baby seat for my wee girl thinking it was the best you could get how wrong i was its a solid thing cant take that away from it but one of its flaws is that its not got a 4 point seat belt to hold the child in it just uses the back seat belt so your kids head will just flop about because it dont hold both sides and its really bad when they fall asleep because they can just slip out the side with there legs in it and there top half out floping about and a total con at £200yours wullie - g

Well I've got one. Little 'un loves it. He is now 3 and able to keep his head up on his own. You can get an optional head restraint type thing for it if they are still at the floppy stage.

I got my for free (its a long story) but they are £145 in my local Halfords. If you are going on the Big One you can have a look at it then (and if nipper is there he/she can test drive it!)

Got mine from Mothercare about two years ago. RRP then was about £180 but didn't pay that much. Recaro must have a website so I'd try that for information on retail outlets, etc.

I agree with gregh.

I wanted the Recaro initially, but the 5-point harness on other brands struck me as being better then using the standard Adult Belt.

We got the Maxi Cosi in the end for £109 from Mothercare (was on offer). It's also very kind to your seat unlike some of the Britax ones.

Or £109 here http://www.baby-boom.co.uk/acatalog/..._Seats_49.html
