Waiting for the AA truck :(
Stuck at the side of the road waiting for the aa man. Car just cut out, managed to pull over safely. Tried to restart and it ran but the cat light came on. Switched it off and now won't re-start. I know the car is running rich and it may have something to do with the HKS vta fitted, but unsure. Lights/wipers etc all working fine. Any ideas??

Cat light? You mean Check Engine light?
Dumpvalve shouldn't prevent it starting. While you're waiting for the AA connect the black "read memory" plugs under the dash, turn the ignition on and see what number codes the CEL flashes out at you. The AA man almost certainly won't be able to diagnose the ECU himself so this is probably the quickest way to narrow down the problem.

Wasn't the check engine light. It was the one that looks like a pan with steam coming off it. Check engine light isn't even coming on now prior to trying to start,
