Default A/C regas.

I know Im a little but early but I want to get the aircon in tip top shape for the summer as last year it was getting a bet sweaty in the car. Has anybody had any experience with the DIY regas kits that the likes of Halfrauds sell, if so what were the results. What is the going price for a specialist to do it?
Thanks.

i paid 50pounds and was a trade price but think its in that region.never heard of home regas at halfords but would advise to get it done by a pro as they test your system for leaks and that all is well. hth

I get mine done by Zak @ PreciousMetal in Knottingley, as he has a winter rate that's pretty cheap....
