Default my wrx is missfireing help please

hi guys my 93 wrx is missfiring i am unsure y this is so i have changed the coil packs still same problem she sound like she is running on 3 cylinders please can anyone help me many thanks mikey

Did you check the plugs

Spark plugs and HT leads are your next bet. Check for dampness on them.

not yet but will get on to it tomorow but when i bought the car it did have a brand new unopen pack of iridium power sparkplugs in it so it could be them

If you have a new set then get them in mate and see what happens, at lest it wont cost you anything

right guys iv cahnged the plugs and im still avin the same problem please guys help

compression test?

HG failure can cause poor running, MAF can give smae problems too.

try unpluging 1 lead at a time to see which 1 is not fireing correctly and take it from there could be a number of things, u could try swapin leads, plugs.

Was the condition of each plug the same ?

because when u unplug the line that has the fault on it not much will happen, when u unplug 1 that is working ok it will get alot worst.
