Big Thanks Harvey, Darren and Bob Rawle
... following the rebuild of my '97 WRX.
After the engine went during a 'lively' drive up Scotland way, decided that an engine rebuild was probably the way forward as was planning it at some point in the future anyways.
Harvey and Darren were able to arrange collection of my car from home and to take it down to their place in Darlington where they've set about removing/stripping the engine, having pistons re-bored and replaced components with ACL Race Bearings, Manley Steel Rods, Wiseco Forged Pistons, new modine and an uprated oil pump.
Thanks should also go to Bob Rawle for his work on the car before and after the rebuild, which it now sits on a 'running in map'... but around 2000 miles later, without so much as a hiccup, the car will soon be returned to him now its been fully run in for another final map.
The knowledge and experience i've made use of is second to none and would highly recommend them to anyone that hasnt already had the pleasure of working with them.
