In-wing Induction Kits (Classic)
Whats options are available to me for an induction kit inserted into the wing of the car ('97 WRX)?
I know that APS do exactly what I want but its for newage Impreza's... I also know they're canny pricey! So what are my low budget options?
Has anyone got and homemade ideas? Or can I use a standard K&N etc, place it in the wing, modify it and fashion some sort of ali piping system?
Anything of what people have already done, ideas/opinions and pics are very welcome
Cheers, Mark

APS made the kit for classics also, but maybe they are discontinued by now?
I'm doing this myself at the moment but the space in the inner wing is very limited. I cut of the lower part of the front splash shield and made a new one of 6mm rubber that sits slightly lower so that I could fit a 8" tall AEM Dryflow filter in there. Next thing to do is to weld an aluminium pipe that goes through the hole in the wing into the engine bay.
But you can fit filters with stock splash guard that will be enough for about 450 hp I think, I just wanted to go bigger.
This mod will probably need a remap as it is likely that the air will pass the MAF differently.
I'm going for Simtek anyway so that doesn't bother me.
