[quote=HT04;9221669]i think its meant to be what hes (the owner), called it. 'The Blue Hawk'. not meant to be 'Blue Hawk ''EYE'',
not correct mate as they actually mention the fact that it is a hawkeye in the text.major gaff, also the headlight guide mod thing was in all the mags last month....jap performance is getting lazy

It is a major gaff, but not as bad as Total Impreza last month. They ran an article that they must have also put in Total Evo as half way through the text changes from talking about an impreza, mentions 'your Evo' and then back to talking about imprezas. Dodgy cut and paste I suspect

They referred to it as a Hawkeye several times during the feature. I suppose it did have a Hawkeye rear spoiler though......
Still thought it was a nice car though, and those Advan wheels look seriously cool.

japanese performance
Just to clarify for everyone I was the owner of the cover car in Japanese Performance at the time of the photo shoot and did not say it was a hawkeye impreza or have a pet name of "blue hawk".I assumed writers for a performance car mag would be able to tell the difference between a blobeye and a hawkeye .
