What engine oil do Subaru use for newage WRX?
My car's been serviced at main dealer and I need to top up on some engine oil but have no clue as to what oil they use.
I think it's Shell Helix 5w 40 but could someone confirm this for me.

It is best to phone up the main dealer and ask them,as my local main dealer recommended to me to use shell helix plus,which is a semi synthetic oil.I opted for helix ultra fully synthetic as i felt it would cope better in a turbo motor than any semi synthetic

You will really need to ask your dealer as they could have used anything.
My local main dealer said they used Castrol Magnatec. Hence I go elsewhere and used Millers fully synthetic. Some will say (e.g SSU) that fully synth is not necessary, but I say an extra £20 per service for peace of mind is money well spent.
