Mending my SE C905 Mobile phone
Just a quick question on where to get my SE C905 mended
It's lost the sound from the earphone so I can't hear anything unless I switch to speakerphone.......apart from that the phone is perfect
Can I take it to a local mobile repair shop or can I pay SE to mend it. ?
Cheers
Shaun

I was quoted about £80+ but no greater than £120 to do mine and IS a very very Common problem
other very common problems are
if you send the same text to 15 peep from phonebook it changes sms to a mms message.
The battery soon becomes useless 3-4hour battery life
The Keypad tend to loose a button
and mine was 2 months old
My old Nokia N95 with 5meg Camera gave far better Pictures
C905 @@@@@@@ pile of rubbish.
After a bit of a fight i got it changed for a Nokia
IMHO IIRC
Tony
I'd contact sony uk or go to watchdog
back street phone repair £40!!!! maybe

Sent mine back for replacment twice for the very same fault. Rang up the second time and demanded a brand new retail packed one [as opposed to the recon they had sent as the 1st replacment] all is fine now, they have i think cured the bug, now calling it a 905 'i' or' a' or something.
I really want a I-Phone now though.
edit; if you hold the 'C' whilst on a call you should be able to hear. Not perfect but usable. Or just use a bluetooth.

Thanks for the info...........
I have replaced it with an LG crystal which has sorted out the problem but I'm left with a flakey phone with little resale value.
I actually bought it off SN......the seller was completely upfront and said it had been back to SE for repair and I have the paperwork to prove it. I have absolutely no gripe with the seller as it worked 100% and was completely unmarked.
It looks like it was the "Toyota Prius" of the phone world LOL
I'll drop it into a little shop in Carlisle which "repairs phones"
Cheers
