Walk away NOW !
Do a search there are some horror stories on here, they claim the engines are stripped and checked and all parts replaced, load of tosh they are out of scrappers and they clean the blocks up and sell them on,
The owners trade under a few names and numbers also.

wow, thats pretty conclusive!!!
i can cross them off my list, an API rebuild would be my first choice because i only hear good things about them, but i just dont have 3grand.
Are re con engines to be avoided?

Mate API can source you a decent 2nd hand engine aswell as rebuilds.

You can guarantee that they do and will check it before selling it.
