ok it was just a quick question for the future, i was wondering if u can get the wrx sounding like the rally cars with the loud turbo chatter like

and how is it done if possible,

You can by taking out the dump valve and blanking off the pipes.This then forces the the unwanted pressure past the turbo fins, making the chatter.
The only problem being increased wear on the turbo and possible failure( depending on what turbo you're running, some turbo's are more resistant to it than others)!!.

Does sound cool though!!

with a fmic it sounds a million times better.

think mine is the td04 im sure on the bugeye wrx, so is there a blanking plate to cover the hole on the intercooler that the dump valve sits on, does the boost pipe get blanked aswell so u would get no reading on the gauge

yeah youll need to fabricate a plate to sit on the intercooler,
if your talking about the pipe that comes off the normal re-circ dump valve then that will need blocking as that leads to the induction pipe, also the small vacume pipe that connects to the top if the dump vale will need blocking I used a bole and a cable tie, never leaked at all.

thanxs alot, i may try it see what its like, anyone got any video clips of theres, ye it was just the wee pipe i was talking about,i have the recirc one already blocked the now
