Chattering noise on lift off! Why?

Have just fitted a FMIC and i now get a very loud chattering on lift off. I am assuming that this is the wastegate, but why can I now hear it.

It's air movement/resonance/pressure changes or whatever you want to call it inside the pipework caused by the dumpvalve venting.

Nothing to do with wastegate, but it does sound a bit like it.
