Howdy,
Is there any way of giving my 95 model RA a facelift such that it looks like a later model. I reckon the bonnet vents fit straight on but what about the front of the bonnet where it meets the new grill ? Also does the new bumper fit on ?

No mate, it can't be done.

You'll need to buy a new model and transer your engine.

I think he means upgrade to MY99 rather than MY01, because that'd be shooting himself in the foot!

I've seen some pre-MY99s with the two-vane bumper - get that and you'll be ok. Oh yes, also get a private plate.

Thumbs up

Revolution Motorsport do a facelift front end package for the pre-facelift cars

http://www.mudd90.freeserve.co.uk/Products_revolution.htm

They are on 0191 477 0785 and can send you a brochure with prices/details - I think its around £900 for the full conversion but give them a call and they'll tell you

I have done the whole process - email me if you need to.
The answer to your question is "yes" but - as with most things - there are complications - not huge ones though.
