hawkeye wheels
hi im looking at fitting some new wheels
8x18 235/40 will these be a straight forward fit
as dont want to go down the rolled archs root?

As long as you stick as close as possible to the factory offset you'll be fine. I have 8x18s with 235/40 tyres on Rotas with et48. No problems even with a 50mm drop

Make sure you get the right wheel PDC, 235/40/18 is what I run on my MY06 STi SpecD.

Yes but if you want to run an 8" rim and afford a bit more rim protection 235 is fine.

i've got prodrive GT1's with 245 40 18's on my '06 sti hawkeye,
rims are 8.5 x 18,no issues with these.

What offset are they?
my wheels are 18'' x 7.5 offset is 45
tyre is 225/40
there is only 2mm between tyre and arch
car is a 06 WRX
i would like to run 18'' x 7.5 but can't see them fitting
