sti pistons
hi everyone i jus wondered how can you tell with standard forged pistons?iv seen pistons with a square on the top and pistons with a line down the middle and curves...could any1 help with pics? and explain?

ive got a set of sti forged pistons and they ve got a square on the top

do you no if the wrx pistons have like line on top and curves on the side?

hi just took apart a wrx and yes the pistons had a curve on the sides

that tells me all
iv got the squares on top...gona be putting them in a CDB but didnt no the difference between them

if you can take a picture of the pistons top and bottom and post a picture up then will be able to tell if they are sti pistons or not.

i will take the pics when engine is stripped...the last time i got it built they had standard sti v3 pistons in and im guessing theyr forged?
