Which is a better track car?

It would probably depend on the track, but IMHO the Scooby would win 9 times out of 10.
Edited to say: "especially if the track was wet "

I guess it depends on how you look at things.
The subaru would probably be the quicker car - but you could easily get bored with the handling. Mid-engine/RWD elise would probably be more of a challenge if not as quick in outright speed.
what am I going on about.

Depends if it was a race or for fun....
Personally if I was buying again for track use I'd go straight for the Elise. Pitty I can't get all my clobber in the back of one or the Impreza would be long gone
Mind you, after my recent Don Palmer day I'm amazed at just what you can do with the Impreza

Having done a driving day with Andy from 1st Lotus I'd have to say it would be much more to do with the driver than the car.
The scoob is v. quick and is a good size. The lotus would be more fun but only has room for a toothbrush and you need earplugs to save your hearing cos the engine is in the back seat.

I'm not having you couldn't fit a toothbrush in an Elise.
Jeysus! How big is your toothbrush?
I borrowed the older shaped Elise to take the wife and two kinds to the south of France, was a little cramped but we made it safe and sound.
