Default Loathed its base, non-turbo 2.5-liter boxer engine

If the tester dislikes the 2.5 that much, he is lucky not to be annoyed by the 2.0 liter engine that is built into the Legacy:
Subaru's reinvented Outback and Legacy tackle the terrain | SummitDaily.com

And do you get a better fuelconsumption in the 2.0 liter Legacy Touringwagon then the 2.5 liter Outback?
A test in a Dutch magazine with the two cars resulted in the same figures.

And not even that much better then my 2.5 Forester did (with speeds up to 230 km/h).

Time to replace these engines with softturbos like the 2.5 XT had.
The way it is now Subaru is falling behind the competition.

Greetings,
SRX!
