Sorry to hijack the post a bit, but......

I'm just about to change all 4 of mine (Hawkeye STI), currently have 225/40 T1R's on 18x8.5 PFF7's. But they give very little rim protection.

Was thinking of changing them to sessantas but 235/40 (£380 delivered from Camskill) - I know this will increase the overall wheel height by 8mm (1.2%) this will be OK though????

Thx in advance

Obviously someone else with style

Thx for that.

Yours the 114mm stud spacing wheels too? Mine were supplied with the 225/40's!

You used "Vreddys" before? Do the 235's give decent rim protection?

Sorry for all the questions - but need to make the right decision

Cheers

I'm getting verddys in a couple of days. I had pilot sports first then eagle f1 gsd3s the f1s had more rim protection. Mine are 114.3 I'm still not shor about silver wheels on a blue car.

Got gold ones on mine and they look cool IMHO, sure the silver ones do too.

235/40's Vreddys it is then - I'm guessing they'll be the perfect width for the PFF7's.

Thx for your help mate
