I am looking to but a 2006 Hawkeye . The current owner has advertised is as having a Prodrive Performance Pack. Apart from having a Prodrive exhaust how can you tell that a WRX has a PPP fitted ? Is there anything stamped in the engine bay ?

And what are the mods that make it a PPP ?

look at the ecu (passenger footwell under a plate) that should have a prodrive stamp on it,

Should also have a blue intercooler pipe!! The owner should also have a PPP cerificate.
Power goes from 230ps to 270 but more inportantly torque goes from 236lb/ft to 310 lb/ft

On a WRX you should find:
Prodrive blue intercooler hose
Prodrive ECU
Prodrive back box
PPPcertificate
PPP silver foil sticker on B pillar, drivers side

subaru dealerships have a database of uk cars fitted with ppp. ask them nicely to check against the reg. no and they will be able to confirm wether it was fitted previously. as for stamps on pillars etc. they SHOULD be there but this is not always the case.
