OK, pipe down at the back there!
That was taken while Nolan and I were working on an "A" series project for Dave Vizard. We had several engines, heads and carb set ups to test, also an early electronic injection set up from Piper RDA. We were using our Heenan and Froude engine test cell. The whole thing took over a month, and David was living with Nolan's family while it was happening.
Much of the subsequent development with the A series engines stemmed from those tests, with the effects felt all over the Mini tuning world.
I proffed to the tune of a nitrous kit, which we tested, just before it found its way onto my MG Midget hillclimb car.
As that picture was taken 30 years ago, I must have been VERY young at the time.
