Question

Hello

Just got a scooby with a Clifford alarm (Concept 600) & Skynet will be on shortly as well. Will your pager sit alongside the other devices ? How does your pager system work (do you need to carry a pager or can you page via amobile phone) ?

Appreciate any info as I will consider having a pager fitted.

Thanks.

Mossman,

Drop Craig an e-mail as its not the done thing to openly display prices etc on the BBS. I don't think Craig would wish to upset anyone.

Don't think has actually posted to say whether it's possible to receive SMS back to your mobile. Looks like a few of you now have this system. Does it do it? Is it an add on to existing alarm or a complete alarm system? Apologies in advance if I've missed this in my absence

Question

The pager can't send sms to your mobile it sends a signal to a pager which you carry with you. range is around the 1/4mile mark. You will soon be able to get pagers to send sms to your mobile but these will cost around £350. alot of money to tell you someone nicking your car when your about 5 mile away!!!

Cool

James,

I have had one fitted by Craig. On open ground it works about half a mile away.

Just gives you peace of mind at home if the car is in a garage or when you are in a restaurant, pub, work, shop etc when the car is close by but you wouldn't hear the alarm.
