OK, I`ve read the posts all about using the right octane fuel and stuff, I`m using shell optimax in my WRX jap import however it takes about £35-38 to fill it up and last me only 220-250 miles, ok, I live out in the middle of nowhere and she really likes the country roads BUT still is that c**p MPG or to be expected?

And yeah, I know I never bought a wrx for the fuel consumption but I was hoping for something better than the 5 series guzzler I had before...

not the best on fuel are they,my girlfriend has my old m5(e34) and that is better than my scooby(wrx import) on fuel!!!

I average 21 - 23 mpg in my 94 WRX - that is driving sensibly (commuting etc), if I dive fast it goes a lot quicker.....
