POT HOLE = Alloy = b@LL@CKS
Went down a pot hole today!!! It made the loudest CRASH noise ever.
Since this it feels like the wheel is bent.... it feels like there a bump on every revolution on the wheel and the steering wheel vibrates.
Can you buy separate alloys ?( 18" Black Redlines)
Would a tyre garage be able to tell me if its bent or should I get a garage to have a better look.
Fecking pot holes!!!

Sounds screwed mate, I am sure a tyre garage will be able to tell you. If it's any help this happened to me a few years back and I contacted the council and took it up with them. It took almost a year but I got my money back for two new tyres and both alloys being refurbished, so keep the receipts and give it ago

Take a ruler to measure the depth & length of the pothole and leave it in the photo, dont give them any excuse to wriggle out of it.

Obviously depends on the area / council. A friend I work with had 2 wheels on his lancer destroyed last week by a pothole which was full of water. He reported the damage to the council, the following day the hole was filled and he received a claim form. Although he hasn't received any compensation yet they have verbally agreed to pay for the damage. Good luck with the claim.

So if the OP sues the Council and loses, you'll pay then (in accordance with your guarantee) for the court costs and the new set of alloys?
Big on words, small on brain.
