400 is nice, but just makes you wonder what 500+ feels like....

Where's that credit card hiding !

I think 450 of each as well. I wouldn't go straight there from standard though, it's a learning curve with driving styles.

400 is interesting, but i don't have the feeling of invincibility i once had now all the RSs/STs etc are getting around the 330 mark

How big is your wallet though? 400 is expensive, 450 can be a crazy amount.

Circa 400bhp is ample for a Newage road car! Most people that tell you anymore is really needed, need to go in a proper 400bhp Newage driven by someone that can actually make best use of it. Most people would **** their pants!

For reliability and cost, imo, this would be a target for road use with the best combination for driveability.

Agreed! 400 driven properly is enough for anyone on the road. It's just like bikes. People think that they are riding gods on new 1000cc sports bikes, but the fact is that no one can ride on open roads anywhere near the limit on one. If your driving anywhere near the limit in a 400/400 bhp car on open public roads then you are a complete......

Fill that in with whatever word you think fits.

Stick to 400 and sort the whole car, not just the power. Then you will have something that you can have some fun in rather than have to do everything in straight lines.

That's what i did, but after a couple of years at that spec. I do wander what another 50+ of each would feel like.

I did think i'd turned it into a "point n' squirt" car at the start, until i could really exploit it.

It's the same old story.... loads of bhp, no talent, straight line crap and don't do anything with the handling, braking and other ancillaries. Been there and done that!
