whats the gross weight of a classic wrx wagon?
#3
ive found this on the net:
2.0 Turbo wagon, year of manufacture 2000, gross weight 1435.
yet it shows the impreza sport wagon as gross weight of 1165 which seems a massive jump! I need something to tow my caravan and I would like another impreza ( I know I know lol) but my caravan is 1100kgs and I dont ewant to exceed 85% of the vehicles gross weight as its bad for the car, clutch, engine etc etc. anyone got a more definative answer?

I've always been told my 1995 WRX saloon weighed 1230kg and that early RA's were 1170kg, so the 1400kg sounds too high and the 1165kg sounds too low.
Also from memory - Isn't there some import problem with type testing or so with classics meaning they aren't allowed to tow anything. I think the UK ones could but imports couldn't. Anyone else remember this? Or have I just dreamt this / made this up in my head
