*nods* Methanol can be bought duty free too, if youre canny. If you really want to, and you have the ability/sense to deal with the chemical: you can mix up a very potent fuel for not a deal of cost too. Itll give you all of the benefits but for relatively little expense.

If it's a daily driver, yes, you're f'ing mad, for a variety of reasons. Have you ever actually smelt race fuel, for starters?

Not the cheapest route by any means but I have a 12 litre tank of 50 / 50 water and methanol in the boot linked to an aquamist "water" injection system........all mapped by Bob Rawle
The methanol injection only kicks in when on boost so I just fill it with Shell V-Max as normal and top up the tank in the boot with Jennychem's finest when it gets low

I have an aquamist system sitting in my garage, I want to fit it but quite a few mappers tell me not to. I would fit for safety rather than a mapped in system. When I had the aquamist on it would use say 3ltrs in about 100miles and if you forget to top it up your in trouble.

That's a lot of water LOL I use about 10 litres of methanol / water a year
Most of my driving is pootling to and from work so I'm off boost for most of the time and therefore use nothing

I've just spoke to Jenny chem and they charge £27.50 + vat + delivery so this works out to £44!!! like I said I will do it for £29 + vat which is £34 our website price is £42.50 inc vat and delivery so even this is still cheaper but I will honor the quote on this occassion.
