First of all merry xmas everyone

anyway just checking all fluids before i drive to my parents for the day and noticed the power steering fluid is low,now it will probably wait till next week till my mechanic opens back up but i was just wondering if i got some from halfords at the weekend if it is ok to top it up??
and what should i be looking at to get??

shud say on the top of the cap mate. i not been out so havent checked. i think dot 4 but just checking up. what year is it?

but i been out and it says sommat like dextron or something,also i thought it was brake fluid that had a dot rating not power steering fluid

just thinking mate i think your right. if u go halfords they shud have a recomendation book in there to use. i think it be ok to mix it. i done it in focus last year an used atf

he ya go mate. it been asked in passed an people use subaru atf etc. hope this helps

atf dexron 2 (d11) or dexron3 (d111) will be fine mate i run mine on dexron3 and it is fine.
