Type 20 on Piston heads
Hi does anybody know the type 20 that's for sale on piston heads? its been on there a long time I think. Subaru : litchfields sti type 20 £11,500
Was wondering why it had the 05 style rear arches and bumpers I prefer them but all the others i have seen have been 04 style.
Spoiler is not to my taste but am sure that will sell on or exchange with another blue boot if it doesn't come off without damaging the boot.

Tony - Thanks so they made the Type 20 for the MY05 cars as well? The 05 ones I have seen have all been Type 25s.
Are the original Type 20-25s marked on the log books or can you check with Litchfields if its an original or just a copy?
Terminator - I am asking as its been on there a while surely somebody on here will know about it if its not right.
The spoiler may look better in reality but I doubt it although its probably worth a few quid if its a genuine one.

I suggest you contact Iain Litchfield - he can tell you if it's genuine. Judging by the registration number it could well be a T-20.
The T25s have a plaque with a build number, but I don't know about the T20s.

You would be looking at 15K + to buy a spec C then get all the type 20 parts extra.
What is yours and would you sell it for 11k?

this one reason why peeps should only quote model year( MY05) and not year registered 2004 or STi7, STi9 etc. etc.
my Type 20 is supposibly a Hawkeye 2005 Sti10/11/12 JDM !!!! FFS
It Never been the above is a just aMY06 STi JDM or a STi06JDM although registered it was DEC 2005 it will never be a MY05 or a 2005 model
Sorry although Subaru salesmen have pitch it, according to prodrive and Subaru japan There has never has been or no such car a STi8, STi9, STi10, STi11, STi12 etc etc. this STi Version number finnished with the classics. and as said revived by UK salesmen
IMHO IIRC

Tony what are the differences in the trim apart from the steering wheel?
If it is a genuine Litchfield Type20 will it defiantly be based on a Spec C?
Am awaiting a reply from the seller so hopefully he can tell me if its a MY04 or 05 and hopefully with some more pics.

My old Spec C was registered in Dec 2004 but was a MY05
TX.
Edit - same controls as mine below the MY05 will also have the (slightly) wider track so will have the tiny arch extensions at rear.
