how much for cambelt change on 02wrx
looking at buying one which is due in 5k how much is average price for belt and tensioner?

£300 with the tensioner, i would also budget for a water pump as well as if this is noisy when spun it will need changing at the same time.

£300 is that for the gold plated one.

£300 is about right from a stealer (don't forget the labour+vat
Mine was £270 recently without tensioner.

mine was £260 for the parts - belt + tensioner + idler pulleys + water pimp + thermostat. did it myself so no labour charge there.

Mine cost £250 with tensioner + service.
It should be changed at 5yrs OR 50k so really you should of had it done 2 years ago.

we do a cambelt change for £189.95 + vat fitted.

most places charge £150 for just supply and fit the belt only, if you are paying less than £300 for supply and fit a complete cambelt kit they are obviously using substandard parts.

for a mickey mouse belt and tensioner is £195.00 from import car parts then you need a garage to fit it.
